Liar’s Club: Join kids author Marty Chan as he teaches kids how to create believable characters and exciting fiction. He’ll reveal his secrets to great writing with simple and easy tips that kids can use right away. This is one workshop where you can get away with lying.
An Albertan writer, Marty is known for his middle-school and young adult books filled with mystery, thrills, and great fun. His books include: The Mystery of the Frozen Brain, Barnabas Bigfoot: A Close Shave, Ehrich Weisz Chronicles: Demon Gate and many more!!! Marty will be connecting virtually with us to run a writing workshop and share his fantastic writing tips.
This FREE workshop is geared towards youth in Grades 6 and up, and will help make their writing sparkle. Pre-registration is required, and a ZOOM link will be sent out prior to the session.
